Enyimba savours victory over Rivers and eyes Confederation cup group stage draws – Osho

Coach of Enyimba FC Fatai Osho has revealed that the People’s Elephant are still in a happy mood after Sunday’s CAF Confederation cup playoff round 5-4 shootouts win against fellow NPFL side Rivers united following a 1-0 loss on the day with both sides tied 1-1 on aggregate.
Osho speaking in a chat with brila.net commended his team for the hard work while acknowledging the strength of the opposition.
He thereafter stressed that the team will enjoy the moments for the time being and have their focus shifted not on the draws for the group stage of the CAF Confederation cup which will be conducted Monday afternoon in Cairo.
“It’s a happy moment for us looking at the level of the opposition and it was never easy. We expected it and that’s what we got. The Rivers United team is very formidable and they really competed.
So we are going to enjoy today and by tomorrow we go back to work looking at the prospect because the draws will be made today in Cairo and we will be looking at the prospects of making it beyond the group stage.”
